Life in London

Life in London is amazing. Here are a few pointers so that you enjoy your stay.

Dance Clubs

If you want to work on your moves on the weekend, there are some great dance clubs in London:

> FabricLondon.com
> MinistryofSound.com/club
> XOYO.co.uk

Age restrictions for these dance clubs do apply, so please check.

Parks

As we’re based in King’s Cross, we’re not far from Hampstead Heath in north London. There are also parks in Clapham Common to the south, Richmond Park to the west, and Greenwich Park to the east of London.

Part-time jobs

If you need a part-time job to help finance your commercial dance course, there are plenty of job agencies in the local area, two of which include Reed.co.uk/London and LondonJobs.co.uk.

Tubes and Buses

The London Underground is how most people travel around London. If you prefer being above ground, there are buses that will take you across the entire city. Visit TFL.gov.uk for more information.

Airports

The two main airports in London are Heathrow Airport (Heathrow.com), located in west London near Uxbridge, and London City Airport (LondonCityAirport.com), to the east of the city.
