Hi. I’m Denzil Bailey and I teach Ballet and Contemporary.

Care

I care most about teaching and the on-going development of our students. I’m also in contact with many of our alumni as they develop their commercial dance careers.

Experience

My journey into Ballet began in the early 1980s. Since completing my Ballet training in 1987, I’ve had the pleasure of working as a professional Ballet dancer all over the world, and enjoyed nearly 9 years as part of the English National Ballet (Ballet.org.uk). I’ve been teaching Ballet since 2001.

Love

I love Ballet. I love teaching Ballet and I love watching our students master Ballet. There is no dance that is quite so elegant and beautiful, in my view. Not a lot of people know this, but Ballet has influenced many different styles of commercial dance, including House Dance moves such as the Jack in a Box and the Pas de Bourrée, and the Split Leap in Jazz Dance!
